There is a default minimization animation in Ubuntu that uses black lines that move towards the window’s place in the window list. Many people, like myself, find this animation annoying. This tutorial shows you how to disable it.
Your windows will change to wire frame as you move them around the screen once you perform this tutorial.

2. Get Linux Distro of Choice
